Privacy Policy

Cop Trap · Effective 30 September 2026

This policy explains what data the mobile game Cop Trap (the "Game") collects, why, and the choices you have. The Game is published by CLOUDIT SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS LTD ("we", "us"). If you have questions, contact us at mustafa@cloudits.co.

In short: we do not ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location, and there is no account. The Game is free because it shows ads. With your permission (or, outside Europe, unless you opt out) it sends anonymous play statistics, and our ad partner may use your device's advertising identifier.

1. Data stored only on your device

Your case progress, stars, sound setting and privacy choices are saved on your device. They are not sent to us and are deleted when you uninstall the Game.

2. Game analytics

We use Unity Analytics (Unity Gaming Services, provided by Unity Technologies) to understand how cases are played, so we can fix difficult spots and decide what to build next. When analytics is allowed, the Game sends:

You can turn analytics off at any time and ask Unity to delete the analytics data linked to your installation (see section 6).

3. Advertising

The Game shows rewarded ads (only when you choose to watch one, for example to unlock a hint) and occasional full-screen ads between cases. Ads are served through Unity LevelPlay (formerly ironSource) and the ad networks it works with, such as Unity Ads. To deliver ads, limit how often you see them, prevent fraud and measure results, these partners may collect:

If you do not agree to personalized ads, you still see ads, but they are not based on your advertising data. You can change this at any time (section 6).

4. Downloading new cases

New cases are downloaded from Unity Cloud Content Delivery. Like any web request, this reveals your IP address to Unity's servers. No other data is sent with it.

5. Who receives the data

Data is processed by Unity Technologies (analytics, content delivery, LevelPlay and Unity Ads) and, for advertising, by the ad networks that serve ads in the Game. How they handle data is described in Unity's Game Player and App User Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing advertising data for personalized ads may count as "selling" or "sharing" under some US state laws; you can opt out as described below.

6. Your choices

Europe (EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland): on first launch the Game asks for your consent. Nothing is collected for analytics, and ads are not personalized, until you agree.

Everywhere else: analytics and personalized ads are on by default. Turning off personalized ads is your "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" choice.

Change your mind at any time: on the title screen, tap Privacy & data. There you can switch analytics and personalized ads on or off, and tap Delete my analytics data.

iOS tracking: the Game asks for tracking permission only if you have allowed personalized ads. You can change it later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Advertising ID: you can also reset or delete it in your device settings.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we do not collect your name or email, we can only identify your data through the identifiers above. To make a request, use the in-game controls or email us.

8. Retention

Analytics data is kept by Unity for as long as needed to provide the analytics service, then deleted or anonymized. Ad partners keep data according to their own policies.

9. Children

The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will help delete it.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
